Minority Affairs   - Government of Sindh was established in the year 1995, with religions Affairs, Auqaf, Zakat, and Ushr Department.

In the year 2010, Minority Affairs Department was separated from Religions Affairs and become a completely separate department under tide ' Minority Affairs'.

The purpose was to ensure more focused approach towards issues relating minority community in Sindh.

It ensures Safeguarding the rights of Minorities in Province of Sindh.

The Department facilitates the formulation of overall policy, planning, coordination, evaluation and review of the regulatory framework.

Functions:  Financial  Assistant, Scholarship, Medical Treatment,  Marriage Jahez   for deserving,  Repair and maintenance of religious places of Minorities community in the Province of Sindh.
